The person in this role will work directly with the customer to identify the issue, provide the technical solution and manage the repairs if required. The person in this position will be responsible for troubleshooting analytical instrumentation used in cannabis testing. Duties include electrical, mechanical and fluidics troubleshooting, as well as reviewing instrumentation diagnostic logs.
Provide timely customer support
Troubleshooting, installation and repair of customer service items
Accurately manage instrumentation case documentation
Communicate with Technical Support and Production Managers at conclusion of RMA
Support cross-functional efforts to develop and improve product, process, training, documentation and/or communication
Skill & Qualifications
The ideal candidate has a technical and service background.
BA/BS technical degree preferred
Experience in a similar role preferred
Experience servicing electronics, hardware
Knowledge of analytical instrumentation and/or chemistry a plus
Comfortable with Microsoft Excel
Self-starter, highly motivated and self-managing
Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services
Strong problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability to drive to root cause and countermeasure complex technical, organizational and operational problems
Excellent listening, verbal and written communications skills
